Chocolate Fudge Bites

This recipe is a slightly modified version from my friend Megan Kelly.  She has an incredible blog and is a Licensed Esthetician specializing in holistic nutrition, woman’s hormones, and spiritual health.

Chocolate Fudge Bites Ingredients

3 cups of unsweetened organic chocolate chips

1 cup of organic coconut milk (in can)

¼ cup of coconut oil

¼ tsp of pink salt

½ tsp of vanilla

¼ tsp of cinnamon

2 tbsps of collagen protein

Chocolate Fudge Bites Instructions

  1. In saucepan on low, melt ingredients together
  2. When melted and well combined, stir in collagen if you have it.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish
  4. Chill in the fridge until firm
  5. Cut into squares and enjoy!

This is an anti-oxidant rich, low carbohydrate snack or dessert that tastes absolutely amazing.  The texture is creamy and delicious and your family will go crazy for these!  I enjoy having them as a snack food around the house.  They help support ketone development and the collagen protein is fantastic for our joints, skin, gut lining and hair.

Chocolate and coconut are a fantastic combination.  Coconut provides healthy medium chain fats and chocolate is rich in anti-oxidants and helps to boost key neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin to improve mood, memory and quality of life.

Due to the good fats in these, it doesn’t take much to satisfy you.  These are great to keep around as a snack or a tasty dessert!
