Step #1: Melt butter in a medium size saucepan. Add onions and cook until they soften and brown.
Step #2: Add garlic and mix to combine. Sprinkle with salt.
Step #3: Stir in coconut flour and continue stirring until it thickens and slightly browns.
Step #4: Add stock, turmeric and thyme.
Step #5: Simmer gently until sauce begins to thicken, 10 – 20 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step #6: Blend carefully in a blender until smooth or use an immersion blender.
Step #7: Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
