Hampton Young
CFHC, CPT, BS
Hampton Young is a Certified Functional Health Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion. He has been working within the health and wellness industry for over fifteen years serving in a variety of roles ranging from diet and lifestyle education, physical therapy rehabilitation, functional fitness training, and product education for some of the top nutritional supplement companies in the country.
In addition to Hampton’s professional experience, his passion and purpose to come alongside and assist others in their health journey stems from his deep faith in God, early childhood connection to nature, and his own personal health journey.
During his early college years Hampton began to experience increasing physical fatigue, anxiety, cystic acne, headaches, and brain fog. After receiving no lasting results from the conventional medical model, Hampton began to search for alternative health options. This search eventually led Hampton to switch majors and began studying natural health with emphasis on: air, water, sunlight, nutrition, movement, environmental toxins, mental attitude, and purpose. It was as though a light was turned on and Hampton knew he was heading in the right direction. Hampton eventually overcame the worst of his adrenal, gut, liver and emotional traumas by implementing sustainable lifestyle change and natural health protocols.
As a Functional Health Coach Hampton views his relationship with clients as a partnership. He seeks to educate, support and empower clients with targeted strategies to help them best achieve their health goals. Hampton utilizes a holistic approach focusing on mental attitude, diet, lifestyle, supplementation and detoxification methods, according to each client’s unique story and bio-individual needs.
Hampton and his wife currently reside in Kansas City, Missouri, where they enjoy biking on nature trails, regenerative gardening, and living out their faith in community with others.
