Writer/Researcher
Kat Gál is a freelance health writer specializing in science-backed health content for functional, integrative, and naturopathic medicine practitioners, mental health practitioners, and health, nutrition, and mental health brands.
Kat is a former psychosocial researcher with experience examining violence against children issues internationally. Her own health journey led her to a career change. First, she trained to be a health coach but found her true passion for health and mental health writing instead. She has been writing about health and mental health ever since.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in children’s rights and educational sciences, and certificates in health coaching, life coaching, nutritional psychology, content marketing, and TESOL. Kat is curious by nature and is a lifelong learner. She is currently pursuing a master’s in trauma psychology and body psychotherapy.
In her free time, Kat enjoys volunteering at her local cat shelter, running, walking, hiking, spending time in nature, traveling, creative writing, reading, and, of course, spending time with her husband and friends. She has been to over 50 countries (and counting) and has lived in over 10 of them.
She currently resides in Milwaukee, by beautiful Lake Michigan, with her husband, two cats, and a bunch of plants. You can find out more about her and how to work with her as a health writer at katgalwriter.com.
