SuperCharged Hot Chocolate:
This is a simple and easy recipe that provides a nutrient dense superfood hot chocolate that you could drink each and every day.
SuperCharged Hot Chocolate Ingredients:
1 can of organic coconut milk (regular or full-fat)
2-3 tbsp of organic raw cacao
1 tsp of liquid stevia (or to taste)
Pinch of pink salt
SuperCharged Hot Chocolate Directions:
Pour coconut milk into a stainless steel pot and heat up. When the coconut oil starts to simmer and bubble turn the heat off and let it relax for 3 minutes or so. When it is at the right temperature that you want it (not scolding but hot), add in the raw cacao powder, stevia and salt and mix real good.
You could use a little electric hand blender to help mix it up faster or just mix with a spoon for a few minutes until you get the chocolate mixed into the coconut milk as best as possible.
Serve alone or with SuperCharged Marshmallows! Enjoy!

This is a fantastic recipe that you could have every single day and only get healthier. The coconut milk is a great source of health medium chain triglycerides (MCT’s) which improve energy levels and stimulate fat burning mechanisms in the body. The raw cacao is very rich in polyphenol anti-oxidants, dopamine boosting nutrients and theobromide which enhances circulation throughout the body.
To protect the anti-oxidants in the cacao and the stevia we put these in after we get to the ideal temperature rather than boiling them indiscriminately. Stevia is a great sweetener that has no glycemic impact and is non-inflammatory for most individuals. The pink salt helps enrich the flavor and take out the after taste of the stevia.
