Dr Jockers Comments:

I grew up absolutely loving pizza.  It was my favorite food for quite a while.  Unfortunately (or really I should say fortunately), I realized that pizza made me feel sluggish and would cause my skin to develop acne.

I was about 16 when I realized that the pleasure of eating pizza was not worth the pain of the acne and tiredness.  So I stopped eating pizza.  At first I missed it but after a while on this nutrition plan, I noticed how much better I felt.

Now, I can eat pizza again as this is low carb and nutrient dense and it is super simple to make with just 3 healthy ingredients.  There are so many recipes on the internet that use 10-15 ingredients so it is nice to have something this simple!

Almond flour is rich in high quality fiber that helps feed our microbiome and improve gut motility and toxin removal.  You can use this crust as a base for a number of different pizza options.  Enjoy!almond flour pizza crust

    1. Hey Shirley, there are a few options. You could try raw goat’s milk cheese or try supplementing with a digestive enzyme that contains lactase along with dairy-containing meals. It is also very important to buy unpasteurized and grass-fed dairy products. If all else fails, you could try making your own cheese out of raw organic cashews or almonds.

      1. Dr. Kickers, thanks for the advice. I will try this. I have a good supplier of goats milk. You have been so helpful.

  1. Hi, I’m from France and I’ve been following a keto diet for 1 month now. I experimented 2 other recipes of pizza crust with much more ingredients, but none of them was so good and tasty as this one. I was a little sceptic to try this as only 3 ingredients were needed. But the result is awsome. Thanks Dr Jockers for your help and all the excellent tips! Your website and videos are a real tool in my keto journey!
