Cinnamon Roll Protein Smoothie:

This Cinnamon Roll Protein Smoothie was made by Chené who is our recipe and social media manager from South Africa.  I love this recipe, and I think you guys will really enjoy it!

Cinnamon Roll Protein Smoothie



Yield 2 Cups


1 frozen banana

2 scoops bone broth vanilla protein

1 tsp raw cinnamon powder

1 tbsp. nut butter

1 cup nut milk

Dash of nutmeg

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp maca powder

Optional: Top with coconut chips and hemp seeds


Step 1: Assemble all ingredients. 

Step 2: Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth and creamy! 

Step 3: Enjoy!

Special Notes:

Depending on how thick you want your smoothie, adjust how much milk or water you add. For a thicker consistency add less milk and smoother, thinner consistency, add more milk.

You can use whatever nut butter you have on hand or enjoy the most.  I always recommend getting organic nut butters, and I like MaraNatha brand peanut butter here, almond butter here, or cashew butter here.

You can also use coconut butter in this recipe if you don’t do well with tree nuts.  For nut milks, you can use almond, coconut or cashew milk.  I love using the Bone Broth Power protein (vanilla flavor) in this but any high quality vanilla flavored protein or unsweetened protein powder will work.

This cinnamon roll protein smoothie tastes amazing and is full of ingredients that support brain health, hormone balance and fat burning!  You and your family will LOVE this recipe!

Cinnamon helps support healthy blood sugar and insulin levels by stimulating insulin receptors.  In response, the body needs to produce less insulin in order to create the desired effect.  This creates less pancreatic stress, improved metabolic rate, and decreased inflammation.

Maca is a great adaptogenic root that helps to improve energy, mental clarity, hormone balance and mood.  Finally, bone broth protein is rich in collagen protein that helps support joint health, gut health, skin health and immune health.
