Hashimotos Thyroiditis Healed:

I had been diagnosed 30 years ago with Hashimotos Autoimmune Thyroid Disease and a thyroid goiter and put on Synthroid.  I was told that I would have this problem for the rest of my life and would need these medications and possibly more for the rest of my life.  My hair was falling out, I had chronic anxiety and was in a lot of pain and was suffering everyday.

In August 2013, I heard Dr. David Jockers talk about nutrition on his radio program. He also mentioned that he was having a workshop on nutrition that following Tuesday evening. I attended the workshop and made an appointment for a Digital Scan at Exodus Health Center. After the scan and some x-rays were taken, my diagnosis came back as scoliosis with leaky gut and vertebrae #3 & 4 were in Phase 3 and fused together.

My Body Was in Trouble:

My neck had no curve and my head was very forward.  The scoliosis had caused severe inflammation and sciatic nerve pain in my right leg as well. Pain was a 10 out of 10 (the worst) for the 1st 3 weeks of care but then it went down significantly.  I thought at first that the care was making my problems worse but I realized it was my body healing itself from years of damage.

Along with the chiropractic care, I was put on the anti-inflammatory nutrition plan. I had gained 26 pounds over the course of 4 years that my Endocrinologist had no clue why. I have been faithful to not deviate from eating the right foods and found the diet easy to incorporate in my life style.

The Results Have Changed My Life:

Within 2 weeks I had lost 4 pounds and continued to loose more weight as the weeks passed.  After 10 months, the extra 26 pounds I had been carrying for 4 years had disappeared, my ears were even with my shoulders, and I had a curve in my neck.  My pain is under control and I am able to do many things I thought I never would be able to accomplish.

June 2013 my prescription for Synthroid wasn’t received before I went out of town so I went without it for about 2 weeks. When I returned Dr. Jockers said to just see how my body would do without it. Three months later I had a blood test and the results showed my thyroid was right in the middle of the functional range at 2.25. So no more Synthroid!

God has performed one healing miracle after another in my body and organs. In addition I have added 15 years to my life and have made the anti-inflammatory nutrition plan as part of my daily regime for the rest of my life and I can fit into my old clothes again.
