Dr Jockers Comments
This is a super tasty snack or dessert you can enjoy that only consists of a few ingredients and is easy to make. This is a ketogenic recipe that is full of fat burning ingredients that support healthy hormones and metabolism.
I enjoy using the coconut almond butter as it is a combination of coconut and almond butter and tastes wonderful. Coconut fats are highly ketogenic as they are rich in medium chain fats that digest easier than the long-chain fats in nuts and turn more quickly into ketones.
Raw cacao is rich in theobromide and PEA’s as well as polyphenolic antioxidants that support a healthy metabolism and boost up circulation to the brain. These compounds also help to improve dopamine and serotonin levels which improve your mood and mental performance. So this is actually a great lunch snack to improve your work performance in the afternoon!!
It is great to use the chocolate bone broth protein because it is rich in glycosamino glycans and collagen protein which support healthy joints, heal the gut and improve your skin, hair and nails. This form of protein significantly reduces inflammation in the body and helps you heal faster and feel better!
