Let’s explore what this episode has in store for you!

Cross Crawl to Enhance Brain Connectivity

Dr. Jockers begins by explaining the benefits of cross-crawl exercises. These movements are not only simple to perform but are incredibly effective at activating the corpus callosum, the part of the brain that links the right and left hemispheres.

Learn how integrating these exercises into your daily routine can help manage stress and improve your brain’s resilience.

Balance Your Way to Better Cognitive Health

Next, the focus shifts to balance exercises. Dr. Jockers details why these exercises are essential for maintaining cognitive health and preventing falls, which are common as we age.

Improving your balance can be a key indicator of your overall brain health and is crucial for long-term vitality.

Neurobics for Mental Fitness

Lastly, Dr. Jockers introduces the concept of neurobics, which involves engaging in novel activities that challenge the brain, like brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand. These activities can significantly enhance neuroplasticity, leading to improved brain function and longevity.

  1. I have neuropathy in both feet. Should I be using Lions Mane or ALA ? I take Gaba but would rather take a more natural approach.
